Outstanding Bass Player and Educator
Ariane describes herself as an Austrian gone Californian, California United States and her influences as World
Music, Classical Music, Funk Classic Rock, Pop, Metal, Bluegrass Celtic, Jazz and Reggae.
A trailblazing Bay Area performer, composer, and
teacher, Ariane ignites audiences with her energetic stage presence, high musicianship and fluid
virtuosity.
Ariane started playing at age of 5 (piano, flute...).
She studied Jazz Bass Guitar performance and Education at the Universities of
Vienna, Austria.
In 2000, after received 1 year scholarship for the Master's of Music program at
the University of Miami, Ariane complete and received a Grauate Certificate of Music from the University
of South Florida in Tampa .
Ariane has studied with Steve Bailey and Victor Wooten, Chuck Rainey, and many
others.
In Vallejo California she has a private teaching
studio and teach bass guitar, piano/keys, improv and music theory to all levels in small groups or on a
one-on-one basis.
Ariane conduct customized remote bass guitar lessons via phone and internet in a
tested biweekly format. She also has taught at several Rock workshops and music camps throughout the US and
Austria.
