Bass Player

Garry Tallent

I am looking forward to seeing and hearing Garry Tallent when he performs with Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band.  Garry, a long time musician/bass guitar player, was an original member of the E Street Band.  Like me he was influenced by James Jamerson, Donald "Duck" Dunn and Jerry Jemmot.  In the late 70's he took some lessons from Jerry Jemmot.

When Springsteen temporarily disbanded the band in 1989, Garry moved to NashvilleTennessee. Having a connection to country and western and rockabilly music he opened the MoonDog recording studio and helped start the D'Ville Record Group label.   He established himself as a record producer and studio bassist.

In 1999 Garry rejoin with Bruce and the E Street Band and went back to the road for one of the greatest tours in rock & roll history with a final stand in NYC's Madison Square Garden.
